Our journey started with a simple dream and a whole lot of love for this wild coast.
Look, we're not gonna feed you some fancy corporate origin story. The truth? Lumirion Hollow started because three friends fell head over heels for a piece of forgotten forest land back in 2018.
Sarah, Marcus, and Elena stumbled upon this hollow during a camping trip. The way the morning light filtered through the old-growth cedars? Yeah, it was one of those moments that just hits different. They knew this place needed to be shared, but done right.
Two years of permits, plans, and plenty of setbacks. We worked with local Indigenous communities to make sure we were respecting the land properly. Every tree, every stone was considered. The hot springs? Those were already here - we just gave 'em the attention they deserved.
March 15th, 2021. Our first guests checked in and honestly, we were nervous wrecks. But watching people discover the trails, sink into the springs, and actually disconnect from the chaos? That's when we knew we'd built something real.
Added the wellness programs, expanded our farm partnerships with local growers, and launched the guided wildlife tours. We're not trying to be the biggest - just the most authentic spot on the coast.
We've planted over 500 native trees, partnered with conservation groups, and watched eagles nest right above Suite 7. Every season brings something new, and we're just getting started.
Forget the corporate wellness retreat nonsense. We're just trying to create a space where you can breathe, think, and reconnect with what actually matters. No forced meditation circles, no juice cleanses (unless you want 'em), just honest-to-goodness nature and comfort.
The forest does the heavy lifting. We just keep the coffee hot and the trails clear.
We're a small team, and yeah, we like it that way.
These aren't just words on a wall. This is how we actually operate.
We're carbon neutral, waste conscious, and work with conservation groups. The land was here first - we're just guests.
Local suppliers, Indigenous partnerships, fair wages. We're part of Tofino, not just in it.
No gimmicks, no pseudoscience. Just nature, rest, good food, and real human connection.
We'll tell you if something's not available rather than BS you. Straight talk, every time.
